About PT&A, Inc.
Paula Teacher & Associates, Inc. was founded by Paula Teacher in 1987 in response to the growing need for specialized services and in an effort to fill gaps in the service delivery system. The organization was incorporated in 1991 and continues to grow.
Paula Teacher & Associates, Inc. specializes in many diverse areas such as vocational and behavioral services; Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS); Home and Community Habilitation; educational services, speech, and language; sexuality education; staff development; staff training; and community mental health services. Our organization maintains licenses in both intellectual disabilities (Vocational Facility).
The unique feature of services provided by Paula Teacher & Associates, Inc. is that intervention is provided in the person's own environment, whether that be in their home, their supervised living arrangement, their school, their place of employment, or the community. Our pledge is that whatever the individual or family needs in the way of instruction, counseling, personal support or other assistance we'll strive to make it happen.

Paula Teacher & Associates, Inc has built an outstanding reputation as a service provider, and are regarded as specialists in a number of areas.

One of these is clearly autism. Our staff are experienced with autism specturm disorders, and call upon a variety of methodologies to effect behavioral, social and emotional growth.
​
We are also well-known for comprehensive mental health services. In fact, we are licensed and are one of the few organizations in our region that can respond to the challenges presented by dual diagnosis.

In these and other areas, we are often referred to the most challenging cases. The depth and breadth of our experience enables us to provide the right level or mix of services to bring about significant improvement.
